Sometimes I sit and I think how crazy it is that for 6 years I was trying to do everything that I learned this summer and after my first at-bat I could just tell that this was it. It is so much easier to make adjustments because I know the parameters and I know where to look when something’s off. I feel like a new hitter. I see the ball so much longer and am laying off pitches better than before from learning how to load. I’m hitting balls out left and right during BP. I’ve had 24 at-bats this fall and I’ve already hit 5 doubles which are more than I hit all of last spring.
